Power over Ethernet add-on module (power input)

Add-on module for Auvidea carrier boards (JNX30M, JNX42 and more) to add powering via the Ethernet connection. 25W peak power is sufficient for mid range Jetson systems (Orin Nano). Please reserve a certain margin, to allow peak power draw by the Jetson. Also please account for the power requirements of peripherals like SSD, cameras and more. For high power Orin NX systems we recommend the PoE++ modules with 72W of peak power. If a high power Orin system must be powered by PoE+, we recommend adding a supercap based UPS section, to support the power spikes. Please contact us for details.

• Isolated PoE+ module: Murata MYBSP0122BABFT (12V 2A, 25.5W)
• Alternative models for 13W (PoE) and 72W (PoE++) are available on request
• DC power out: 12V (to carrier board)
• output voltage: diode bridge ORs DC in and output of PoE module
• DC power in: 12V nominal (19V max)
  • with reverse voltage protection and transient over voltage protection (>24V)
  • common mode filter for noise reduction
• Software controllable load of 0.5W to meet minimum power load specification of PoE+
  • controlled with Jetson pin 127 (0=off / 1=on, default=on)
